At Stump Up For Trees, we are keen to work with progressive, environmentally motivated organisations and individuals who have the resources and vision to help realise our ambition to plant a million trees, plant them well and maintain them through to establishment.

Sponsors can donate to the project as a whole, or fund specific plants or planting projects.  

SUFT is proud to be supported by a growing number of small, and in many instances local, businesses who funding tree planting through innovative, customer-facing micro-finance initiatives.

 

Partners

Utility Warehouse are the UK’s only genuine, multi-service utility provider: they bundle home services including energy, broadband, mobile and insurance, in one simple, monthly bill. 

Utillty Warehouse have pledged to fund the planting of 400,000 trees over the next 4 years.

Jerboa

Jerboa is a full-service digital agency that delivers quality website and software development solutions for multinationals, SMEs, startups and more.

They have provided SUFT with this website and associated advice and consultancy free of charge.

Gliffaes

Gliffaes was one of the finest hotels in South Wales, established in part thanks to it's unrivalled reputation as a true country house and fishing hotel. Guests would discover Gliffaes off the beaten track, tucked away in the Brecon Beacons National Park and surrounded by the rolling hills of the Black Mountains.


They set up the Room for Trees initiative demonstrating how hospitality can not only engage in the natural environment but act to make significant, positive change.

The Insurance Network

The Insurance Network (TIN) is a strategy and benchmarking forum for the UK insurance sector

TIN is supporting SUFT by planting a tree for every attendee at their events. They aim to plant 1000 ‘TINtrees’ by the end of 2022 

 

The Angel Hotel

The Angel Hotel is a luxurious, 4 Silver Star hotel, located in the centre of Abergavenny.

The Angel, and the Abergavenny Hotels take part in the Room for Trees initiative.

The Angel is donating £1.00 for every room night sold and adds an optional £3.00 donation to each guest’s bill.

 

 

Mission Performance

Mission Performance offers premium training, coaching and tailored consultation to help people lead, coach, communicate and minimise risk.

As a B Corp they have taken a new initiative to environmental impact, creating the MI - Mission Investment. Stump Up For Trees is their land based partner in delivering a holistic approach to environmental investment.

For every program the deliver for a client, they will calculate the carbon emissions associated with the project and turn that into a Unit of Environmental Investment (UEI). This unit is then invested directly into a pre-selected community project detailed in their proposal to the client.  Stump Up For Trees is their chosen 'land-based' project for their clients to consider.

Perform Better offer a depth of knowledge & experience to our customers, working closely with leading Strength & Conditioning Coaches & Physiologists.

They are planting trees with SUFT to mitigate the environmental impact of their fleet of vans

Little Green Refills

Little Green Refills are reducing plastic waste by offering a refills delivery service for cleaning and household products delivered straight to your door.

Their customers have the option to plant their own tree when placing an online order. Little Green Refill match every donation tree for tree.

They are donating to SUFT every time they take on a new project

Acini works with insurance companies and brokers, managing agents, MGAs and all parties in the UK insurance value chain, providing business transformations, policy admin/billing/claim platforms replacement, digital portals, integrations, reconciliations, reporting and London Market messaging.

They are supporting SUFT as part of their ESG agenda, and because they love trees.​

Natural Weigh

Natural Weigh is a zero waste shop in Crickhowell, which offers consumers the chance to shop zero waste and plastic free, while also providing healthy, delicious food.  Customers are encouraged to bring in their own containers to reuse and refill.

They donate to SUFT every time a customer buys a paper bag or uses their loyalty card.

Sustainable Control

Sustainable Control is the largest supplier of Hydro Electronic Control Systems in the UK,

This is an example of a sponsor providing the funding for a specific plant: in this case Joe Binns, the landowner, invited SUFT to plant 1000 trees on farm his farm at Great Llwgy, in Pandy, near Abergavenny

Sustainable Control have funded this specific plant which will be a tangible manifestation of their support for the project: ‘we planted these trees’.

They are not purchasing carbon credits or seeking to offset their own carbon footprint.
